Why should I use Gemelli Travel and not just book my holiday myself?

Simply put, we’ll save you time and money, meaning you can fully look forward to your trip. You’ll benefit from our personal consultation, industry knowhow, customised itinerary planning, and full support. Most importantly, we guarantee the best available hotel rates and automatically apply complimentary perks such as free breakfast, room upgrades, and hotel credits—benefits you cannot secure by booking yourself.


Do you sell everywhere?

Yes, our network and platform are global. We can plan and book travel to nearly any country worldwide. We draw on both our personal travel experience and the comprehensive global network of Little Emperors and Virtuoso.


Can I book any hotel through Gemelli?

We specialize in luxury hotels and have access to Little Emperors’ curated collection of over 5,000 luxury hotels globally. While we focus on this exclusive portfolio, we are more than happy to look into hotels that aren’t part of the existing network.


Is it cheaper to book hotels myself?

No. Through our affiliation with Little Emperors, we’ll guarantee the best price. You’ll receive the lowest publicly available rate, and in many cases, a special preferential rate. On top of the rate, the value of the complimentary benefits (free breakfast, credit, upgrades) often far exceeds any savings you might attempt to find elsewhere.


Can you book flights?

Absolutely, we’re more than happy to take care of your flight bookings. We have access to competitive rates across a whole host of airlines, and can often hold seats for you with no immediate payment.


Do you only offer hotel and flight bookings?

Absolutely not. In addition to hotels and flights, we can also book villas (in fact, Kerry & Antonia both started out in the villa industry), jets, yachts, trains and car hire. We can arrange unique experiences, private tours and even assist with restaurant reservations.


Can you help with special occasions or celebrations?

Absolutely. We love planning honeymoons, anniversaries, birthdays, and milestone trips, and can arrange thoughtful touches, surprises, and upgrades to make your trip truly memorable.


Can I just book one part of my trip with you?

Yes. You can use us for as little or as much of your trip as you’d like- from a single hotel stay or a one-way flight, to a fully planned multi-destination journey.


Do you charge a planning fee?

For simple hotel-only bookings where we secure the best available rate and benefits, there is no planning fee. For our Tailored Advice and Bespoke Trip Planning services, we charge a £60 and £100 planning fee which is due upfront and is non-refundable, paid via bank transfer. Please note planning fees are not deducted from trip fees.


What’s the difference between Tailored Advice and Bespoke Trip Planning?

Tailored Advice (£60 planning fee) is perfect if you’re happy to book your trip yourself but want expert guidance on where to stay, what to do, and how to structure your time.
Bespoke Trip Planning (£100 planning fee) is a full end-to-end service where we design, book, and manage every element of your journey on your behalf.


Do you work with all budgets?

We work across a range of budgets, and are passionate about making immersive travel accessible. While we specialise in luxury travel, our goal is always to maximise value, ensuring you get the best possible experience for your budget.


What’s your cancellation policy?

The cancellation policy is determined by the specific travel supplier (hotel, airline, tour operator) for that booking. We will always confirm the full cancellation terms and payment schedule with you before you commit to the booking.


Do I need to take out travel insurance?

Yes, travel insurance is always essential. You can either purchase insurance from a travel insurance provider, or you may be covered by your credit card provider; we always suggest checking the small print.


Is my personal information secure?

Yes. We take data protection seriously and only share your information with trusted suppliers when necessary to fulfil your travel arrangements.


Can I contact you during my holiday?

If you used us for our Bespoke Trip Planning, absolutely. You can contact us for urgent changes, last-minute requests, or if any issues arise with your bookings. We are there to offer peace of mind and you’ll have access to our contact details before your trip. 


What happens if something goes wrong during my trip?

If any issues arise, we’ll act as your advocate; liaising directly with hotels, airlines, or suppliers to resolve problems quickly and efficiently, so you don’t have to (for Bespoke Trip Planning clients only).


Do you provide ATOL protection?

Yes. Through our affiliation with Little Emperors, we provide ATOL protection.
